Developer M3 will not contest ACHD decision–Starview Dr. rebuilding to begin

Wednesday evening, April 28th the Mesa Neighborhood Association spoke before Ada County Highway District’s Board of Commissioners, presenting the results of the Mesa survey issued earlier this year, stating that we upheld the 2018 Development Agreement for reconstruction of Starview Drive. ACHD unanimously rejected M3’s, the developer of Boulder Point,  request to modify the 2018 agreement for reconstruction. The typical process would then have led to a formal presentation to Boise Planning and Development on May 10, and finally before Boise City Council. On April 30, M3 developers withdrew their right to contest ACHD’s decision and will now be required to begin rebuilding Starview Drive. This will be a long process and Starview and Warm Springs Ave will be closed for some time. The end result will be a much improved roadway with widened travel lanes, bike lane and sidewalk along with gutter improvements, widened hairpin turn, improved pedestrian crossing on Warm Springs Avenue. We will do our best to keep you updated.
