PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE: 125 Unit mutli-family residential development.  
Everyone’s attendance at the City Council Meeting scheduled for August 29th, at 6 p.m. will be critical to demonstrate your opposition to these proposals to your elected officials.
The developer’s rebuttal to P&Z’s denial of the development has been published under the title of “Appellant Written Argument” dated 7-10-17.  http://pdsonline.cityofboise.org/pdsonline/details.aspx?id=PUD17-00007  
It is a 286 page pdf (there are lots of pictures/illustrations!) which P&Z staff acknowledges does include NEW information contrary to the guidelines for appeal.  P&Z staff will note this issue when they publish their report on August 14th.  
Please review the section of the developer’s arguments which you feel most passionate/informed about. Remember we cannot submit new information, but must re-emphasize our arguments that have already been recognized by P&Z.  Be aware that the re-zoning issue will be front and center, so also include your statements refuting their arguments to re-zone to multi-family under the cover of the commercial identification.

If you are a “Party of Record,” you can present your rebuttal against the developer’s arguments in written testimony to the Mayor and City Council by submitting such testimony to Celine Acord at CAcord@cityofboise.org No Later Than Monday, July 17th, at 5 p.m.  (Party of Record is defined by P&Z as someone who signed the online petition to deny before June 8, 2017; or someone who submitted an e-mail or written testimony to P&Z prior to June 8, 2017; or someone who indicated a desire to testify by signing in to the P&Z hearing or did in-fact provide verbal testimony at the P&Z hearing).   In addition, you will be allowed to present verbal testimony at the City Council Meeting, August 29th, at 6 p.m.  All previously submitted e-mails, testimony transcripts from the hearing and petition signatures will be submitted to the City Council for review prior to their meeting. You may not present new information, but must focus your rebuttal on the developer’s arguments.

If you are not a “Party of Record,”  you may ONLY submit arguments against the request for rezoning of the 8.65 acres from A-1 (R-1A open land with one residence) to R-2D/DA (Medium Density Residential with Design Review and Development Agreement). Your “General Public” statements against the rezone will be accepted up to 5. p.m.August 11th, 2017. You may not make comments regarding the Planned Unit Development (PUD) Apartments that have already been denied by the P&Z Commission.
